BRISTOL FOLK FESTIVAL
POSTPONED TO 2022
Dear Folk Friends.
It feels a long time since we have seen you all, and we hope you are all safe and well.
In light of the current public health crisis, and the risk to our artists, stewards and audiences we must announce that Bristol Folk Festival will be rolled over to 2022.
A folk festival is about togetherness. About dancing, singing and sharing the music we love, with smiles, tears and joy. We miss you all, but in close co-operation with our artist and venue friends, the safest option for us all is to move to May bank holiday weekend in 2022, when we will return with folk gusto.
Kate Rusby and O’Hooley & Tidow will open the festival at Clifton Cathedral as planned on Friday 29 April 2022. Jon Boden and Kitty Macfarlane will draw us to a close on Sunday 1 May 2022.
By holding onto your tickets you will secure the festival’s future. The shape of the festival remains the same, and we will confirm the line-up over the next couple of months, with a few special announcements 😉
We really appreciate the kind support you continue to show.
Anna, Ant and Rich
